Playmates
chose us to sculpt about 80% of their Star Trek
figures from the begining of the line to its last
season. they selected us primarily because of our
ability to sculpt likenesses.
We started with the 5 inch figures for the first
few years and moved on to larger, deluxe versions
as time went on. The figures got even better when
we were sculpting 12 inch clothed figures with roto-cast
heads. The best we thought were the large, limited
edition cold-cast reson figures.
This series lasted for almost a decade and we were
able to see Playmates improve their methods of reproducing
our sculptures.
The pictures we have here are just a drop-in-the-bucket
compaired to the actual body of work we produced
from the original Star Trek series to Deep Space
Nine.
