The
Simpsons
The
Simpons were a lot of fun to produce. We did the
first 12 figures for Playmates: Homer, Bart, Lisa,
Marge and Maggie; along with Grampa, Mr. Burns,
Krusty, Apu, Moe and Barney. As simple as they look,
it was a challenge keeping them proper to Matt Groening's
character design standards.
There
were virtually no common-sized articulation disks
between the figures...yet they all had to relate
perfectly to each other.
It's
great being part of such a well-loved American iconic
fixture as the Simpons! |
